Boom Goes the 360

Well, my xBox went straight to hell late last night.  After a good four odd years, my first-gen 360 started freezing before giving me the tell-tale RRoD.  A horrifying shade of red, that is.  And now because I bought my console more than three years ago (yes, punish us first-gen buyers!), Microsoft expects me to pay $100 just to get my old system repaired?  

I think not.  That's half the damn price of a brand new one with better components.
