Frustration

It's so incredibly frustrating to have these magnificent images in your head and be unable to translate them onto the canvas the way they should look.  Beautiful scenes, landscapes, incredible worlds my mind dreams up and when I put the proverbial ink to paper, they look like such poor imitations I can't even bother to finish them because I know they'll never compare.  I have a very rudimentary understanding of the tools I use, and I very rarely find a tutorial containing what I need to learn.

How upsetting as an artist to be unable to create art on any medium the way your mind does. I need to find a course in Photoshop techniques and landscapes that will give me the skills to do what I am driven to.  And until then, I slam my face against the art-block wall.
